If someone gives you a gift for what ever reason then you need to be sure to let them know that you are thankful for the gift they gave. You need to send thank you cards out when you are given something for nothing. You will appear very rude if you take something and do not express your thanks for it. It is a sign of respect to say thank you to some one who goes out of their way for you so be sure to be curtious to them and show respect. It will make them feel like they can give you more things later. If you give someone a present then you will also expect some sort of thank you from them or you will not ever want to do anything for them again. SO do to them like you want done to you and you will find things work smoother.
