Higher education is not merely harder but also expensive. Many of the adults nowadays, who were not able to finish their education in their childhood, go back to universities to at least complete their graduation. This is why universities have special scholarships for adults. Scholarships enable the less privilege students to achieve their goal and save money. Hence scholarships have become a major requirement for most students. In countries like USA where secondary education is very expensive scholarships provide an easy road for the adult students. Scholarships are also considered as a symbol of self respect and privilege among many adult students. It can be achieved in different department such as sports, arts etc and not just studies. They can also be achieved on an adult’s journey from stopped studies to present. If in between one did different courses or diplomas that can be an advantage to them too.
However in this competitive era it is difficult to get scholarships. Adult students, before applying, work harder to get along with other activities so that those activities can help them get scholarships. Also achieving scholarships should not be the only aim. One should maintain scholarship which is again difficult task as other activities have to be carried out as well.
