With the advent of the online high school, more and more people are interested in enrolling their student. For many students this will be the answer to their problems with grades, attendance, etc., but the parent needs to ask themselves if they truly believe that their child will have what it takes to sit down and do the work needed on a daily basis. Just because you are doing your school online, it does not mean there will be less work necessarily. You still will need to sit down several hours a day and take care of your school subjects. What a online school does offer is flexibility, freedom from in class peer pressures or embarassment, and one on one help when and if you need it. If your student can either make themselves do the work or can be supervised closely by the parent, an online high school may be just what you are looking for. Be honest and make the right decision.
